This year, Sinfonía por el Perú celebrates 15 years of its Huaraz Center, marking an important milestone as the first site nationwide to reach this anniversary.
For over a decade, the program has provided music education to children and youth in the region, creating a space where they can learn, grow, and develop both artistically and personally. More than just a training program, the Huaraz Center has become a community where discipline, teamwork, and leadership are nurtured through music.
Since its beginnings, the initiative has accompanied the dreams of hundreds of children and adolescents, offering them not only artistic formation but also tools to strengthen their confidence, aspirations, and sense of belonging.
Through collective music education, participants develop essential life skills that extend beyond the stage, positively influencing their families and communities. Over time, the program has contributed to building stronger social connections and promoting active citizenship among young people in Huaraz.
This anniversary is also an opportunity to recognize the dedication of the teaching team, staff, families, and community members who have made this journey possible. Their sustained commitment has been key to consolidating the impact of the program over the years.
