Who We Are
Help Peru is a U.S. 501(c)(3) registered public charity founded by the Peruvian diaspora in 2013.
We work in close partnership with local leaders and community organizations to design, grow, and support sustainable development programs across Peru. Our entry points in health, education, and environment are pathways to broader community transformation.
We believe in building community resilience to promote long-term, sustainable development. We do this by working in close collaboration with local, trusted nonprofit organizations. Our support includes funding and organizational capacity-building through training, technical assistance, and monitoring and evaluation. This approach ensures that all our programs are developed using a participatory methodology and implemented in a culturally sensitive manner.
Every project we support integrates gender equity, women’s empowerment, and climate change as cross-cutting themes. In 2025, we’re working with 12 program partners to improve the lives of more than 30,000 Peruvians.
