Immediate Support for More Than 1,000 People Affected by Severe Rains
Thanks to the āYo no voy a parar de donarā emergency campaign and the support of FundaciĆ³n OLI, Help Peru delivered 200 emergency kits to families affected by flooding and landslides in northern and southern Peru.
As heavy rains and landslides continued to impact communities in Piura and Arequipa, hundreds of families faced urgent needs, including access to clean water, food, and basic hygiene supplies.
In response to the crisis, Help Peru and FundaciĆ³n OLI quickly activated an emergency relief campaign to provide immediate support to vulnerable families affected by the severe weather conditions.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and allies, the campaign made it possible to deliver 200 emergency kits, directly benefiting 1,053 people across affected communities.
Each kit was designed to support families during the first critical days of the emergency and included essential supplies.
The distributions prioritized communities facing the greatest vulnerability and urgent needs.
Humanitarian emergency campaigns like this one allow us to respond quickly when unexpected crises affect communities across Peru. Immediate support during the first days of an emergency can make a meaningful difference for families facing difficult and uncertain conditions.
