March 8th Celebrate International Women’s Day where we recognize a time to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women in Peru and around the world. It is also a moment to recognize the ongoing fight for gender equality and the need to empower women in all aspects of society.

Help Peru believes that: Women must be at the center of the development process in order to achieve lasting, sustainable change.” We do this by ensuring all our projects include women’s empowerment and gender equity initiatives as transversal themes. As a result, over 55% of all our direct program beneficiaries are women and girls.
