August 2024 Program Partners’ Workshop The August workshop focused on several key themes including the scaling and replication of our projects in order to create systemic change over time and taking into account aspects such as geographic areas, number of direct beneficiaries, thematic expansion, advocacy efforts, and collaborations. In addition, the subject of technical and financial sustainability was addressed through presentations by three guest speakers who shared their experiences and knowledge on issues such as resource mobilization, sustainability, vision entrepreneurship, and innovation. Additional topics included long-range program plans, and a special presentation focusing on gender equity and women’s empowerment.Another important workshop subject covered monitoring and evaluation. Guest speaker InĂ©s Roncagliolo, Head of Monitoring and Evaluation of Educational Quality at Transforma Experience, shared how Transforma has matured its strategy, tools, and approach to monitoring and evaluation. The workshop closed by addressing the theme of mental health and stress management techniques with attendees, and a review of new policies for compliance and strengthening our partner organizations.  Program Partner Highlight: Sembrando Juntos We are thankful that your support enables us to partner with organizations like Sembrando Juntos.A mother whose daughter is part of our project with Sembrando Juntos Laboratory School and early education program shares a bit about their experience. MarĂa is 2 years old, and her mother tells us that “there was no close and trustworthy opportunities where I could register my daughter. In July, I found out that Sembrando Juntos would open a classroom for early education for children under 3 years, and I have seen a change… she was shy because she had no friends to interact with at home, and she also didn’t talk much. Since she has been at school, she talks a lot, and she comes home singing, and playing. She tells me what he learned in school and loves her teacher”. |
